我が国において今は困難で冬の日のように暗いけれども、私はこの国の将来について、今までの政治家人生のどの時よりも楽観的だ。
我々が協力すれば、アメリカにできないことは何もない。
As tough as this moment is in the country, as dark as these days of winter seem, I am still more optimistic about the future of this country than I have been my whole career.
There is nothing beyond America’s capacity if we work together.

When I think of climate change, I think about jobs. Good-paying, union jobs that put Americans to work, make our air cleaner, and rebuild America’s crumbling infrastructure.

数百万人の人々が失業している。小さな店は閉店している。人々は支払う金もなく、家に閉じ込められ、日々の食事にも困っている。議会はすぐに救済金の法案を通過させる必要がある。
Millions of people are out of work. Small businesses are closing. People are struggling to pay their bills, stay in their homes, and put food on the table.
Congress needs to pass a relief package immediately.
