Today we are announcing the planned deployment of 80 wildfire sensors and 16 wind sensors across Hawai‘i. The initiative reflects the Homeland Security Department’s continued commitment to support long-term recovery efforts following the unprecedented wildfires on Maui, while advancing innovative solutions for extreme weather events driven by climate change.
