私は大統領に就任してすぐ、情報局に対して新型コロナウィルスの源について調査するよう通達を出した。本日、情報局に調査に携わる人材を2倍にして90日以内に報告書を提出するよう伝えた。
Shortly after taking office, I instructed our Intelligence Agencies to investigate the origins of the COVID-19 virus. Today, I’ve asked the Intelligence Community to redouble those efforts and send me a report in 90 days.

We are still awaiting many of the details of this latest mass shooting in San Jose, but there are some things we know for sure. There are at least eight families who will never be whole again. Every life taken by a bullet pierces the soul of our nation.
We must do more.

2020年の3月、私は大統領選挙イベントのためにクリーブランドに行った。しかし、演説会は新型コロナウィルス感染への懸念が強まりキャンセルとなった。あれから長く暗い1年が過ぎた。
今日、アメリカは回復に向けて前進しており、我々の進捗についてお話しするために私は再びかの地へ向かっている。

In March of 2020, I went to Cleveland for a campaign event — but our rally was cancelled due to growing concerns about COVID-19. A long dark year lay ahead.
