At the direction of the U.S. President, Gov. Ige has ordered that the U.S. and Hawaiʻi state flag be flown at half-staff for National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. The action serves to honor the 2,403 service members and civilians who died as a result of service at Pearl Harbor.
Note: Flags are already at half-staff in honor of the late U.S. Senator Robert J. Dole, and will remain at half-staff through Thursday.
