Extremely proud to help celebrate this afternoon as our two newest cabinet directors were sworn in at Honolulu Hale. Dawn Takeuchi Apuna & Haku Milles have both done an incredible job leading their departments as acting directors, and this is huge step for all of us at the City!
We look forward to the Honolulu City Council confirming their appointments, and we’re excited for them to keep working for the people of Oʻahu. Bravo, and congratulations!

今日の午後、ホノルル市庁舎で2人の新しい局長が就任宣誓式を行い、私は彼らと共に就任を祝うことができて非常に嬉しく思います。ドーン・タケウチ・アプナ氏とハク・ミルズ氏は共に局長代理としてそれぞれの部署で素晴らしい手腕を発揮しました。今回の局長就任はホノルル市にとって大きな前進となります。ホノルル市議会が今回の指名を承認し、彼らがオアフ島の人々のために働き続けることを楽しみにしています。
