On display now at Honolulu Hale’s Lane Gallery: an art exhibit by The Correctional Arts ReEntry Project (C.A.R.E.) featuring 64 pen and pencil drawings created by inmates in the Women’s Community Correctional Center and the Waiawā and Hālawa Correctional Facilities.
Three handmade heirloom jewelry boxes are also on display. This exhibit is being showcased by the Mayor’s Office of Culture and the Arts, along with the non-profit agency, WorkNet, Inc. It runs from now until Aug. 12th and is open from 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

今、ホノルル市庁舎にあるレーン・ギャラリーでは「受刑者が芸術に再び触れ合うプロジェクト（The correctional Arts ReEntry Project）」の作品が展示されています。女性刑務所とワイアワとハラワにある刑務施設に服役している受刑者によって、ペンと鉛筆で描かれた64点の作品です。ハンドメイドの素晴らしい宝石箱3点も展示されています。この展示は、非営利団体「ワークネット」と協力して、市長室の文化芸術活動の一環として行われています。月曜日から金曜日まで午前7時45分から午後4時30分まで、8月12日まで公開されています。
