This year, my Administration will propose a new rule that makes it mandatory for U.S. airlines to compensate you when they’re at fault for a cancellation or delay.
We know you’re fed up with the service you’ve gotten from airlines.
So, we’re doing something about it.

Earlier, I vetoed a Congressional Republican resolution that’d overturn commonsense local police reforms in Washington, D.C. – like chokehold bans and limits on force – passed in the wake of George Floyd’s murder.
I don’t support everything about this bill, but I think overall it improves both public safety and public trust. And at the end of the day: I think Congress would be better off spending its time coming together to pass commonsense police reform legislation.
先に私は、ジョージ・フロイドさんの殺人事件をきっかけに可決された、チョークホールド（首絞め）禁止や武力制限といったワシントンDCの常識的な地方警察改革を覆す議会共和党の決議案に対し、拒否権を発動しました。
私はこの法案のすべてを支持するわけではありませんが、全体として治安と社会的信頼の両方を向上させるものだと考えています。そして、結局のところ、議会は、常識的な警察改革法案を可決するために団結し、時間を費やしたほうが良いと思います。
