Today we marked the 20th anniversary of the MADD Victim Memorial dedication at Kaka’ako Waterfront Park. We heard from members of our community whose lives have been torn apart at the hands of drunken drivers. This was a somber reminder of why it’s time to get MADD all over again.
本日、私たちはカカアコ・ウォーターフロント・パークでMADD（Mothers Against Drunk Driving：飲酒運転に反対する母の会）犠牲者記念式典の20周年を迎えました。私たちは、飲酒運転者の手によって人生を引き裂かれたコミュニティのメンバーから話を聞くことができました。これは、なぜ今またMADDが必要なのかを、悲しくも改めて認識させるものでした。
